Commercial training

Training concept

Under the 2012 Education Ordinance (BiVo), school-based education is regulated in detail and consistently geared towards professional practice.

Vocational training comprises four elements: integrated practical training (IPT), problem-oriented teaching (POU), work placements, and inter-company courses (ÜK).

The courses are structured in a modular system and include comprehensive commercial and business management training. Depending on their needs, trainees can thus gradually obtain the Swiss-recognized qualifications of Office Specialist Diploma VSH, Commercial Diploma VSH, and Commercial Clerk EFZ.

The curriculum of the MPA Vocational and Commercial School corresponds in all respects to the training provided in a traditional commercial apprenticeship and ensures that the school-based training and examinations are conducted in accordance with the federal training and examination regulations.

Medical education

The MPA Vocational and Commercial School is a vocational school accredited by the Office for Vocational Training. The name stands for an excellent supplement or alternative to existing state schools and encompasses vocational training, education, and continuing education.

The training courses offered in the medical field are also aimed at young people and adults. We offer needs-based and innovative basic and continuing education courses in medicine.
