History

In 1923, the Severin Borer painting business was founded by Severin Borer-Schmidlin. The first workshop was in Otto Meier's property on Passwangstrasse, and the painting shop was also located at Josef Schmid's in Neumatt Büsserach. In 1933, the company founder built a residential building with a workshop in Niederfeld. In 1964, the business was handed over to Severin Borer Jun. and Iwan Borer. After careful planning and realization, the current business premises with workshop, storage rooms, office, paint store and two apartments were occupied in 1974. Since 1986, the two brothers Gerold and Dieter Borer have successfully continued to run the painter and paint store as business owners in the 3rd generation. In 1992, the company was converted into a public limited company. In August 2010, Stefan Borer, Dieter Borer's son, joined the company. This means that the 4th generation is already working in the company. Stefan Borer attended the master painter school in Zurich for 3 years and graduated with a federal diploma.
In 2013, the company celebrated its 90th anniversary. The company currently employs 10 people, including one apprentice painter and one trainee.



Our team is very flexible

Particular flexibility is required when moving house. The apartment is cleared out. You suddenly see where the pictures and wall decorations were hung. The apartment should therefore be repainted immediately. The new tenant is "already at the door". No problem, because our team is very flexible. Try us out!
