Dr. Jorge Ferrara completed his family medicine studies in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1983. He then continued his training as a homeopathic physician at the "Thomas Pablo Pasquero" School of Homeopathic Medicine in Argentina and at the Academy of Homeopathic Medicine in Barcelona. Passionate about the human being and his biopsychosocial issues, he enriched his training in Jungian psychodynamic psychotherapy and Gestalt therapy in Argentina and Spain.

Since 2013, Dr. Ferrara has arrived in Switzerland, where he has had the opportunity to work within the CHUV with prestigious colleges. Thus, he has extensive experience in the field of psychopathology, both in the private and hospital sectors.

Finally, since 2018, he has been working in his private practice with the collaboration of excellent healthcare professionals, particularly in the fields of psychotherapy, psychiatry, unicist homeopathy and integrative body therapies.

--- Single-substance homeopathy ---

It is well known to many of us that homeopathy aims to cure disease "with the same substance". The morbid dynamic may come from within the patient or from without, and diagnosis in this respect even becomes essential to implementing effective treatment.

From this initial point, we want to emphasize that our understanding of the human being is that of a human being integrated into a particular becoming, with its familial, social and historical environment. 

Moreover, each patient has his or her "vital correspondence in nature": by this we mean that unicist homeopathy finds for each of us a unique and personal remedy that will help heal (and also prevent) both the visible symptoms manifested in our physical body and the symptoms that are not perceptible at first sight, but which configure the intimate reality of every human being.

--- Psychotherapy and Psychology ---

Dr. Ferrara practices integrated psychotherapy. This discipline is used to help all people suffering from psychological illness or emotional disorders developing in a particular environment.

His interest in developing an integral vision of the human being in body, mind and soul. This has led him to practice: Humanistic and Dynamic Psychotherapy, Relaxation Techniques and the Alpha Method of Mental Dynamics and the Blood Group Approach to Human Temperaments, and associated music therapy, among others.
