Geoservizi was born out of the demand from designers for specialist reports that are USEFUL and not an end in themselves. Every stage of the consultation process is focused on providing concrete answers to the needs of our clients. Our areas of expertise are geology, geothermal energy, and radon gas contamination. RADON SERVICES

What is radon? Radon is a radioactive gas produced by the decay of uranium naturally present in rocks and soil. It is a highly diffusive gas that, coming from the subsoil, seeps into buildings, where it can reach high concentrations and cause damage to human health.

What damage does radon cause? This gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer, after smoking. The higher the concentration in the air we breathe and the longer the exposure, the greater the risk of contracting the disease. The onset of the disease can occur even after several years.

ASBESTOS AND OTHER HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES SERVICES

During the demolition, conversion, or renovation of buildings or facilities constructed before January 1, 1991, it is possible to encounter materials, such as those containing asbestos, which require careful management and proper disposal.
