TREATMENT UNDER MICROSCOPE:

The practice has six microscopes, type Leica 150MR and Leica F12.
Quality assurance for the patient; comfort and precision for the practitioners.
The microscope has been introduced for over 10 years.
Much more powerful than any type of magnifier we've tried, it's currently no longer conceivable for us to do without it.

CABINET GENERAL ANESTHESIA CARE:

Since June 2012, we have been collaborating with an external general anesthesiology company (www.narkose.ch), which comes to perform narcosis on our premises. We perform two to three procedures a month. Patients are selected on the basis of the severity of the procedure, as well as the risk of complication linked to their general health. Patients requiring hospital follow-up are not selected.

Patients arrive on an empty stomach on the day of the procedure and leave accompanied, approximately 45 minutes after the end of care.

The main indications are major oral surgery, sanitation care for phobic patients or non-collaborative infants.

My collaborator, Dr. Yvan Vuilleumier, and I benefit from experience of dental care under narcosis in hospital settings, amounting to more than ten years for both practitioners. Many requests for treatment under narcosis have been accepted by private insurance companies, when the treatments were part of the LAMal care package.

IMPLANTOLOGY:

Dr. Philippe Zimmerli and his team have placed over two thousand dental implants to date. By respecting restrictive indications and applying strict therapeutic rules, we are able to achieve optimal success rates. We work exclusively with high-quality Straumann products, manufactured in our region.

Primary bone grafting and maxillary sinus lift cases with simultaneous or delayed implantation are among the basic treatments carried out in the practice.
