The new mixed municipality of Haute-Ajoie comprises the villages of Chevenez, Damvant, Réclère, Roche d'Or, and Rocourt.
As these villages are located in Haute-Ajoie, it was only natural to call the new municipality "Commune de Haute-Ajoie."
The municipality of Haute-Ajoie has retained the typical character of the Ajoie region, and agriculture is well represented. Industry is well represented by Les Ateliers Busch SA - Pompes à vide, a company located in Chevenez that provides jobs for the entire Ajoie region and beyond. There are also shops, small workshops, artisans, tourist facilities, and artists. Community life is rich in activities. All these elements contribute to the municipality's remarkable quality of life and environment.

Economic promotion
The business park in the municipality of Haute-Ajoie is located in the town of Chevenez, on the edge of the Porrentruy–Montbéliard cantonal road. It is two minutes from the motorway junction providing direct access to the Transjurane (A16), five minutes from the French border, 15 minutes from the Mulhouse–Belfort–Lyon motorway, and 20 minutes from Delémont, capital of the Republic and Canton of Jura.
The area covers a surface area of 66,000 m².
The land is reserved for the construction of industrial buildings or craft businesses. The sale price has not been set. It will be determined contractually on the basis of the economic contribution of the business to the region and its development potential.
The municipality of Haute-Ajoie, its authorities, and its administration can provide:
- Support in the authorization procedures;
- Regular support with the region's economic and political circles;
- Tax planning opportunities and collaboration with the Economic Development Office of the Republic and Canton of Jura.
Saint-Martin – St-Martin
Celebrated on the second Sunday after All Saints' Day, around mid-November, this culinary tradition dates back a very long way.
This tradition, which has been perpetuated over the centuries, is an excuse to prepare a gargantuan menu.
It is a celebration of food that marks the end of work in the fields, and the many dishes are mainly pork-based.
This is where the pantagruelian menu of Saint Martin's Day (St. Martin) comes from. It consists of the following dishes:
- broth
- jelly
- blood sausage with cream
- grilled meats, atriaux, and roast
- sauerkraut garnished
- crème brûlée
- totché (cream cake)
- chtriflattes
