I attended compulsory school in Morbio Inferiore, the cantonal high school in Mendrisio, obtaining a scientific high school diploma, and the University of Fribourg (1983/1987 – LLM with distinction "magna cum laude").
I have been married to Brunella since 1988 and am the father of Manrico (1990) and Mattia (1992).
I am a lawyer and notary with cantonal licenses obtained in 1991 and 1993, respectively.
I have been practicing law and notary work for over twenty-five years and am registered in the cantonal register of lawyers, the Swiss Bar Association, and the Order of Notaries of the Canton of Ticino.
