Schneiter Patrice

Patrice Schneiter is a versatile drummer whose musical styles range from Blues - Jazz - Funk - Soul - Rock - Reggae - Samba - Salsa.

From 1990 - 1991 he studied music at the "PIT",Musician Institute in Los Angeles from where he obtained his "Professional Drummer" Certificate. He studied with Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey, Casey Scheurell, David Gabartini and others, and received a nomination for the human relationship.

In January 1992, he enrolled at Boston's Berklee College of Music to continue his musical studies. He obtained his Bachelor's degree "Cum Laude" in "professional music" in 1996. He studies piano with Russ Hoffman and Mike Marra.

In 2003 he travels to Cuba and studies with percussionist Tomaso Ortiz "Panga"(Afro-Cuban All Stars).

In 2005 and 2016, he takes part in the Jazz Masterclass in Siena (Italy) where he studies with, among others, the famous Italian drummer Massimo Manzi and Fabrizio Sfera, Jeff Ballard, Justin Brown...

In 2010, he travels to Brazil and attends Percussion workshops with various Salvador de Bahia drummers and percussionists. In Rio de Janeiro, he met the famous percussionist Marco Suzano (Djavan), who taught him his pandeiro method and technique.
