Periodic electrical inspections

The safety of people and the availability of installations are affected by wear and tear or ageing over time. For this reason, owners are requested by their electricity supply company to have the safety of their electrical installations checked at periodic intervals.

Proof of safety in the event of a change of ownership

If a property with a 10- or 20-year inspection period for the electrical installation is sold, an extraordinary inspection is required if the property does not have a safety certificate that is no more than 5 years old.

Acceptance inspections

Have you recently had electrical installations installed in your business? If so, then as the owner/operator you are obliged to have an acceptance inspection carried out for this electrical installation within 6 months.

Before handing over the installation to the owner, the electrical installer checks the installed systems as part of an internal final inspection and records the results in a safety certificate. For quality assurance purposes, the installer often outsources this work to an independent inspection body such as ePowerCon AG.

• You commission the company ePowerCon AG with the electrical inspection.
• The order is registered with us and the following data is recorded
• We arrange an inspection date.
• The safety inspection is carried out in accordance with all standards.
• We issue you with the measurement and test report and the safety certificate. A list of defects is drawn up for defective systems. You commission a licensed electrical company of your choice to rectify the listed defects. The company reports the defects to us once the work has been completed (with signature and stamp).
You will receive all the necessary documents from us, and at the same time we will send the SINA to the network operator for deregistration.
