As a Christian church, we are committed to the Gospel in word and deed. We live faith, hope and love, and value tolerance and solidarity, but also personal responsibility and freedom. The Evangelical Reformed Church of the Grisons is the second largest religious community in the canton of Grisons. It has around 60,000 members in 72 congregations and three language cultures. Solidarity with the disadvantaged and people who experience suffering is enshrined in its constitution, as is a focus on justice, peace and the integrity of creation. Life in the congregations is characterized by an interplay of voluntary, honorary and salaried employees. Their church buildings offer space for contemplation, music and prayer. Quite a few of them are cultural assets of the highest order.
