Born of the passion of Messrs. André Baumann, typographer, and Raymond Nicaty, printer, L'imprimerie de l'Ouest was founded on Swiss National Day 1949, a little to the west of Neuchâtel, in a small disused workshop of some 30m2. 
Three years later, the success was there and they decided to move to more spacious premises at rue des Draizes, Neuchâtel. The road to the West was paved... 

L'imprimerie de l'Ouest becomes a SA and in 1979 continues its westward rush to rue de la Chapelle 24 in Peseux. Then, in 2012, it resumed its conquest of the West, moving to Avenue Beauregard 34 in Cormondrèche.
