Why our windings are to your advantage

We deliver winding work of well-established quality from our workshops.

There are still many motors, whose windings cause unfortunate operating failures.

It is unanimously recognized that the choice of insulators is decisive for the service life of motors and electrical devices.

With the aim of constantly extending the service life of electric motors, we maintain ongoing contacts with leading Swiss insulating material factories.

Electrical machine windings are made from copper wire insulated with a highly resistant enamel varnish. For special dimensions and uses, we use enamelled wires fitted with single or multiple fibreglass covering.

The insulation of the conductors used in our workshops withstands voltages higher than the prescribed test voltages, this also at high temperatures. Once the windings have been completed, they are subjected to impregnation using varnishes specially adapted to the conditions in which the motors work.

The treatment of the windings is carried out in our workshops.

Winding treatment was long considered, and wrongly so, to be of secondary importance.

Experience has indisputably demonstrated the very great importance of the "Impregnation-Baking" operation.
