A family-owned and specialized company

Experience

Grünenwald-Nikles SA draws on both a family tradition and long and extensive experience in tinsmithing, carpentry and roofing, all specialties included. The company was founded in 2007, when two specialist companies based in Cortébert and Saint-Imier merged. Convinced that there's strength in numbers, Cédric Grünenwald and Alain Nikles combined their names, with a head office in Cortébert and operations at two sites.

The company's main activity is the construction of carpentry and roofing structures.

Framework cutting and all work exclusively on wood is carried out in Saint-Imier, tinsmithing and roofing in Cortébert.

The company employs around 15 people, including the three bosses: Alain Nikles, Cédric Grünenwald and Alain Grünenwald (founder of the company set up in the late 70s in Reconvilier).

Specialists at your service

Our company places great importance on training. As a result, all our staff are trained in at least one of the three fields of carpentry, tinsmithing and roofing.

Every winter, we also provide our customers with a wide range of services.

Each winter, we also attend a variety of further training and specialization courses. The use of products and machines, in tinsmithing as in carpentry, requires a regular updating of knowledge, to be able to offer the best service to our customers.

We're always on the lookout for new ways of working.

A committed company

We are deeply concerned by the health of the regional industrial and craft fabric. Every year our company takes on at least one apprentice. We are currently training four future professionals, two in carpentry and the same number in tinsmithing. We can congratulate ourselves on an excellent exam success rate.
