My forms of therapy
Shiatsu therapy
Shiatsu is a holistic body therapy based on traditional Chinese medicine, which is several millennia old. It is based on the understanding that our life energy (ki in Japanese) flows through our body in pathways known as meridians. According to Far Eastern medicine, illnesses/disorders are understood as an imbalance in the flow of energy in the meridians. Consequently, the harmonization of the energy flow in the meridians is the focus of treatment. In shiatsu, this is achieved by applying targeted pressure along the meridians using the hands, elbows or knees. "Shi"= finger, "Atsu"= pressure.
As a rule, the treatment is based on a brief consultation and a hara diagnosis. During the consultation, the current symptoms are explained and other aspects causative for the development of the disease are discussed. The hara area ("hara" = abdomen) contains the diagnostic fields of all meridians, which the therapist uses to gain an overview of the energy conditions within a short period of time.
Craniosacral therapy
Craniosacral therapy was developed at the beginning of the 20th century on the basis of osteopathy. Its name is derived from the terms cranium (skull) and sacrum (sacrum). The osteopath Dr. William Sutherland discovered that the bones of the skull are movable and form a unit with the sacrum, the membranes of the brain and the spinal cord. Within this unit, the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pulsates in a rhythm that is subtly transmitted to the whole body and can be perceived.
This rhythm is created by a force that triggers a tidal rhythm throughout the body, known as primary respiration. In my therapeutic work, I am connected to this force and support the system in its self-regulation.
Accidents, traumas, shocks and illnesses can cause changes and disturbances in the free flow of these tidal movements. How these movements express themselves provides diagnostic and therapeutic indications.
Disharmonies are brought back into balance during the treatment by means of very gentle, mindful touch. This strengthens the system's inherent resources and activates the body's self-healing powers.
Bioresonance therapy
The bioresonance method is a holistic diagnostic and therapeutic procedure. It works with patient- and substance-induced vibrations. It is based on findings that every form of matter consists of energy and also radiates energy. Every substance, every cell has a very specific frequency pattern chemical and electromagnetic processes are constantly taking place in every cell of the body and the cells and organ systems communicate with each other and influence each other via these vibration patterns.
Disease arises where the vibrational harmony - like an orchestra whose instruments are out of tune - is disturbed over a long period of time. Chronic illnesses arise when the pathological vibrations can no longer be regulated by the body's own system.
Pathological vibrations are caused, for example, by substances such as toxins, viruses, bacteria, allergens, food intolerances, disruptive electromagnetic radiation, stressful life situations and negative emotions.
