Carrosserie Élite was founded in 1990 by Mr. Patrice Brülhart, and became a public limited company in 1993.

In 1999, the company acquired its own premises in Courtaman, moving into brand-new facilities that comply with all the latest noise, environmental and safety regulations.

Carrosserie Élite SA trains apprentices in sheet metal work and vehicle painting.

It is a member of the French-speaking bodybuilders' federation and partners with insurance companies such as AXA and Vaudoise. It also collaborates with other insurance companies as well as several garages in the region.

In 2015, Mr. Patrice Brülhart decided to hand over the reins to Mr. Laurent Haas, workshop manager for many years, in order to ensure the continuity and development of the body shop.
