Description
Hubert CHEVAL, Founder & Director, Watchmaker of the company "HWRA Sàrl"
Valérie Varaporn RAPIN, Founder & Director, Angleuse lime of the company "HWRA Sàrl"
For the brief history of our company name: "H" for Hubert (my partner's first name) and Horlogerie "W" for Varaporn (from my Thai first name) and Valérie "R" and "A" for my Rapin surname
I present myself to you, Madame Varaporn Valérie RAPIN, founder and angleuse lime with the company "HWRA Sàrl", created in October 2022. After in-house training from "master to pupil" in the file angler trade, as well as a few years' experience at the "Breguet SA" fine watchmaking factory in Le Chenit. I continued my professional career by joining the "Ferdinand Berthoud" timepiece bevelling and decoration workshop in Fleurier. I'm passionate about my profession, which demands technical skill, attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. I eventually set up my workshop in Couvet, in the Val-de-Travers.
I work on a variety of materials, in particular titanium, nickel silver, gold, brass and steel. My work encompasses all the tasks a file beveler performs, such as cabron drawing, file beveling, honing, polishing and molding. In addition, I manually carry out hooping, straight-draw strokes, as well as block polishing, also known as mirror polishing or black polishing.
I've been working with prestigious brands since my early days. What's more, our customers are very demanding when it comes to quality and wish to safeguard this unique know-how.
