Description
Carriage rides with history and tradition
The history of Kutschenzentrale Davos is impressive and dates back to 1840. Originally, the family business was a transportation company. The Flüelapass road was built in 1864. The federal government repeatedly put the concession for transportation over the pass out to tender and the Fopp family, as a proven transportation partner, was repeatedly awarded the contract. In the 19th century, most people did not yet know the comfort of modern means of transportation. The Flopp family transported passengers and letters over the Flüela Pass in their specially equipped Flüela stagecoach, which involved a great deal of effort and work. The Fopp family was also involved in transporting goods from Landquart to Davos and from Davos to Süs. Today, carriage rides on the historic Flüela stagecoach are still possible! Enjoy the special feeling of being led by horses in a carriage through the magical Davos landscape. We look forward to your inquiry
