Around 50 years of TRAUB-MALER •New construction •Old buildings •Conversions •Renovations •Refurbishments
In 1972, Erwin Traub took over Oskar Beer's painting business, which at that time had five employees. Even then, the focus was always on precision work in the painting business. Since 1999, Erwin Traub's son, Reto Traub, a federally certified master painter, has been running the painting business with twelve qualified and highly motivated employees.
As a Swiss-certified master painter, accredited expert in painting for the SMGV (Swiss Association of Painters and Plasterers), experienced trainer, and examination expert in the painting trade, Reto Traub loves and lives his profession with all his heart. We put a lot of effort into training young people in our painting business. A sound knowledge and continuous training of all employees is essential in order to provide you with highly qualified work using the latest technologies in an ecological and sustainable manner. We have been training apprentices since the beginning of the company's history. Women have also chosen this demanding profession in our company; we currently employ two female painters and one apprentice.
Painters carry out painting work indoors and outdoors. They paint facades, walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, and other parts of buildings with paints and varnishes. After appropriate pre-treatment of the substrate, various techniques are used to apply the paints and varnishes. Painters are also responsible for hanging wallpaper and plastering facades, and their work contributes to the protection and preservation of buildings.
We believe that, in addition to purely technical skills, enthusiasm and a love for the profession are also necessary to achieve perfect results for you. Our employees have the right attitude to their work, are constantly improving their skills, and enjoy what they do. That's why you always receive the best advice and, ultimately, the optimal solution from Malerbetrieb Traub.
