Preventive medical check-up

This involves assessing your current state of health by means of a comprehensive physical examination (blood tests, ECG, ultrasound/chest X-ray, and lung function tests). We also offer driving aptitude tests and travel and vaccination advice.

 

X-ray

Image quality is crucial for good diagnostics. Our digital X-ray system also reduces the radiation dose and thus the radiation exposure to the body many times over.

ECG

...is short for electrocardiogram; it can be used to record the electrical activity of the heart muscle and detect whether there are any disorders or even serious heart conditions.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a painless and safe imaging procedure for diagnosis and monitoring. Unlike computed tomography or X-rays, ultrasound does not involve any exposure to radiation.

Blood pressure

Blood pressure is the measurable pressure of blood in the arteries as it is pumped through the body by the heart. The first value in a blood pressure measurement is called systolic; it measures the pressure with which blood is pumped through the body. The second, lower value is called diastolic. It represents the resistance that opposes this blood flow in the blood vessels.

Blood sugar measurement

Blood sugar measurement determines the amount of glucose (blood sugar) in the blood, i.e., the blood sugar level. It is used to detect diseases with high blood sugar (diabetes, gestational diabetes) or low blood sugar.

Lung function test

...also known as spirometry, is a diagnostic procedure for measuring lung function. It measures the amount and speed of air when breathing, making it possible to detect lung diseases such as asthma or COPD.

Weight control/diet

We offer individual nutritional counseling by a certified specialist. This service can be covered by your health insurance's basic insurance.

Infusion therapy

An infusion is necessary for many conditions and helps to normalize a patient's fluid and salt balance. It also serves to regenerate and revitalize the entire body.
