A GIFT FROM NATURE The Brunner wine factory is located in an area that offers ideal conditions for producing high-quality wines: the warm climate—partly influenced by the south wind—and cold winters meet the temperate and often humid climate of the Atlantic Ocean. The cool winds from the northwest give the wines their fresh aroma, while the balanced maritime climate and light, permeable moraine soils allow the grapes to ripen fully into late autumn—a prerequisite for complex wines with plenty of freshness, finesse, and elegance.

Wine production
Our vineyards, with a total of 15 hectares of vineyards, provide the basis for our now widely renowned, refined, uncomplicated wines with a contemporary taste. But our trademark is also distinctive, characterful single-vineyard wines with a pronounced terroir note and barrique presence. Our vineyards in prime locations on Lake Baldegg and Lake Sempach provide us with the basis for producing a wide range of top-quality wines.

Vinegar production: With our in-house acetaia, we produce Lucerne balsamic vinegar of the highest quality. For us, balsamic vinegar is not just vinegar, it is a passion – an absolute niche product that is recognized nationally – enjoyment and passion with countless facets. A wide variety of balsamic vinegars made from different fruits now leave our acetaia. Our balsamic vinegars are produced in the traditional way and with the latest technological possibilities in mind, with the highest culinary standards in mind. Balsamic vinegars gain their exquisite aroma and balance through the thickening of the fruit juice and storage in small wooden barrels, whereby the evaporation of water results in a concentration of the fine flavor ensemble. The different types of wood used for the barrels, such as oak, chestnut, ash, and cherry, give the balsamic vinegar additional aromatic components. In our acetaia in Kommende Hitzkirch, our balsamic vinegars find the ideal conditions for successful storage and harmonization.
