Hächler Bootbau AG was founded in 1987 by Rolf Hächler. In 2008, the Müller AG yacht and boatyard in Einigen was taken over. The boatyards were merged on January 1, 2015 and since then the family business has been operating under the name Hächler Bootbau AG at the two locations in Einigen and Oberhofen.
Today, the two companies are managed by Rico Hächler (boat builder and technical businessman) and Luca Hächler (boat specialist).
