Cantilever racking is an extremely strong storage system for storing long goods and bulky items. These include, for example, wooden panels, metal sheets, profiles, beams or steel elements, building materials or even old vehicles and all types of heavy loads

OHRA cantilever racking differs from the standard by using full-wall steel profiles for all load-bearing elements. This slim design of our shelving enables compact storage on a small footprint.

There are specific cantilever racking systems for every product and every industry. Depending on requirements, they differ in height, usable depth, load capacity or profile thickness. All cantilever racking is manufactured individually according to customer specifications, with a high-quality powder coating or hot-dip galvanized for outdoor storage. OHRA cantilever racking is available in different versions, from a small rack line for light loads to complete rack halls, where the rack uprights also serve as a load-bearing structure for the roof and walls. Versatile accessories such as arm bridges for continuous storage without disruptive intermediate supports or inclined arms for storage and retrieval by crane are part of the certified company's standard services. Other services such as rack assembly, structural calculations and the creation of drawings round off the offering.

Pallet racking for individual solutions

Pallet racking is by far the most frequently used storage system for a wide range of requirements. In addition to the classic storage of goods on different pallets (e.g. Euro or industrial pallets), these racks can also be used to store loading aids such as pallet cages or heavy tools. Pallet racking can be found in many sectors, for example in the building materials trade, at freight forwarders, in industrial shipping warehouses or as a single-user system for heavy goods.

The robust pallet racking from OHRA is made of hot-rolled quality steel profiles for high load capacities and safe handling. The height of the individual shelves can be adjusted in increments of 100 mm. Economically attractive pallet racks made of optimized steel sheets with IPG beams are also used for light and medium-heavy loads. One of OHRA's specialties is hot-dip galvanized pallet racking for outdoor use. These storage systems can be supplied with or without a roof. All pallet racks are quick to assemble and can be extended at any time.

- Shelving halls

Shelving halls as a combined solution

Shelving halls from OHRA are the perfect fusion of building and storage system. In contrast to classic hall construction, the uprights of the shelving systems serve not only as a storage system but also as a load-bearing substructure for the hall roof and optionally for fastening the side walls of the shelving hall. This allows you to achieve a clear cost advantage compared to conventional hall constructions with additional shelving.

Shelving halls can be realized on the basis of cantilever racking or pallet racking. A combination of both types of racking as a load-bearing structure is also possible. Depending on the use and requirements, the racking halls can be designed as open or closed structures. Closed shelving halls are completely clad and equipped with doors or roller shutters. The design of the roof and walls of the shelving hall is versatile. For example, trapezoidal sheets or light panels can be used for the roof covering. The substructure can be realized as a pitched or gable roof if desired. Trapezoidal sheets, sheet piling or sandwich panels are used as wall cladding. Racks with roof

For outdoor storage, OHRA offers shelving systems that not only create additional storage space, but also provide sufficient protection from the weather. The roofing of cantilever and pallet racking, for example for storing wood, ensures that the goods remain dry and are ventilated at the same time

OHRA offers various roof constructions, all of which are statically calculated taking into account snow and wind loads. The roof is usually covered with trapezoidal sheet metal. However, this can also be carried out on site.

- Platform systems

Storage platforms from OHRA increase the existing storage area without any extension or conversion work. The additional space created with the storage platform can be used cost-effectively and in a variety of ways, e.g. as office or work space, as production or exhibition space or as an additional storage unit.

OHRA storage platforms as a flexible warehouse extension

All OHRA storage platforms can be configured for different requirements and loads by using different support profiles, transoms and purlins (e.g. made of solid-walled steel profiles or optimized sigma profiles). Obstacles such as pipes and power lines as well as windows and doors are taken into account. OHRA easily plans and manufactures warehouse platforms with up to 5 storeys. The standard axis dimension of the platform supports is 3.5 - 8.5 m. Load capacities from 250 - 2,000 kg/m². We can plan larger axle dimensions and load capacities with you on request. The storage platforms are completed by stairs with steps made of grating or wood, railings in bolted design with handrail and knee rail. Transfer stations in various versions and designs are also possible. We use plastic-coated chipboard or anti-slip flooring on the storage platform.

- Shelving racks

OHRA shelving racks for the storage of small parts and non-palletized goods. The galvanized plug-in shelving is plugged together without screw connections and is mainly used for manual removal. The robust shelves with different shelf widths and load capacities are folded several times.

OHRA shelving racks - flexibly configurable

The shelving racks are available in 3 different heights as standard: 2,000, 2,500 and 3,000 mm. The shelf depth is optionally 400, 500 or 600 mm. The individual shelves can be supplied with a load capacity of 150, 250 and 330 kg, depending on requirements. The maximum bay load is 1,500 kg. All OHRA shelving units are tested in accordance with BGR guidelines. The shelves can be adjusted in height increments of 25 mm. Also available as double shelving.

- Automated warehouse solutions

According to the requirements for a semi- or fully automated warehouse, our specialist consultants work with the customer to plan and configure the selection of suitable conveyor equipment and racking technology. The configuration of the storage and retrieval machines (SRMs) is based on the automation task, the products and the spatial conditions. All SRMs can be designed to be both aisle-bound and curve-going. This makes it possible to operate several aisles with just one device.

The integration of the mechanics for the lane change in the trolleys and the intelligent interaction of the in-house warehouse management software also makes it possible to use several vehicles in one system. This eliminates the need for complex conveyor technology between the individual rack aisles.
