Our company was founded by Berni in Fanas 20 years ago, on April 1, 1982. Initially as a one-man business, with the help of his wife Elsbeth, then with various temporary workers, we managed to get through the first year.
In March 1983, the first worker was hired, only until the fall, he is still with us today! Thanks to the good order situation and the wide range of activities, we were always able to employ temporary workers from the region.

When the space in Fanas became too small, we decided in 1986 to expand the workshop with a new building or extension. This turned the small 36 m² "booth" into a 170 m² workshop, which we were able to move into the following summer. But as it goes, there is never enough space, and as early as 1991 a warehouse was rented in Schiers, on Sagastägweg. This is already too small today, so that we have our tinsmith's workshop and our roofing warehouse at the same location, in the former workshop of Chr. Willi.

In 1998 Markus also joined the company, after his apprenticeship as a tinsmith and plumber, he was in Chur and Bern on his apprenticeship and traveling years. After completing the master tinsmith school at the training workshops in Bern and passing the master tinsmith examination, he now tries to bring the latest knowledge and techniques into the company.

Since the tinsmith and the roofer are moving ever closer together and we were often asked about roofing, we decided to start roofing ourselves. In spring 2001, we also hired a roofer. Since then, we have been able to offer the entire roof from a single source, which is certainly an important thing for every building owner.
