History

Founded in 1972 by Mr. Jean-Louis Chardonnens and his wife Christiane, Voyages Jean-Louis has acquired a wealth of travel experience over the years. Little by little, they developed this sector by offering their customers seaside vacations, family outings, school transport, as well as "turnkey" trips for companies and other groups in Switzerland and throughout Europe. Today run by their son Jean-Daniel and his wife Fabienne, "Voyages Jean-Louis" has grown considerably over the years, to become one of the leading players in the industry in French-speaking Switzerland.

Takeover of Novabus

In 2008, our company reached a new milestone with the acquisition of Novabus, then based in Ste-Croix (VD). On April 1, 2008, we inaugurated our new office in Yverdon-les-Bains and expanded our fleet, which now comprises some 15 vehicles with 8 to 80 seats. With this merger, we have surpassed the 17,000-customer mark, spread throughout French-speaking Switzerland and beyond!

Merger with Robert Fischer SA coaches

This development continues to grow, as from April 1, 2013, Robert Fischer SA in Marin (NE) also joined our group. We would also like to take this opportunity to warmly thank Mr. and Mrs. Fischer for the confidence they have shown in our company, and for enabling us to ensure that their entity continues to operate throughout French-speaking Switzerland.With this consolidation, we also wish to position ourselves throughout the canton of Neuchâtel, and to do so, we will be renewing the coach fleet to achieve the quality and comfort that are currently our strengths
