Founded in Wettingen in 1962 by Mr. Willi Schmid

In 1969, the company was transformed into a limited company, published in the commercial register under W. Schmid AG.

Since the beginning, W. Schmid AG has been active for home ABB Baden. Our experience of over 40 years in this sector is still appreciated.

In May 2011, the Board held a generational change. Willi Schmid transferred the management of the company to his son, Markus Schmid. He is for more than 10 years in the company W. Schmid AG and has worked in comprehensive education and training measures intensively prepared for the acceptance of responsibility for the entire company.

Our main business:

Our company is located in Switzerland in the Canton of Aargau - thanks to our favorable position you can reach us in a few minutes from the A1 motorway, exit Baden / West. Zurich Airport can be reached in half an hour, the City of Basel in just under 55 minutes. The busstation station is only 5 minutes away, the next trainstation is in 3 kilometers away.
