This gem of a hotel is fresh from its slumber - kissed awake by the will and skill to lovingly restore all the historic details. And to combine them with today's standards of comfort, even deluxe. Our rooms are historically renovated - and equipped with excellent beds. This is history, nostalgia. And it's real relaxation.

DREAM, SLEEP WELL: WHETHER IN THE ORIGINAL HISTORIC OR DELUXE ROOM - WITH US, YOU HAVE THE BEST CONDITIONS FOR A RELAXING SLEEP.

The FLÜHLI Hotel Kurhaus has been a Swiss Historic Hotel since 2021: Together with the preservation authorities of the Canton of Lucerne, we have restored this beautiful house to the bijou it was for a long time.

Some rooms have a balcony, all have their own bathroom. Probably the most important point for you as a guest: no matter which room you stay in, our beds are really good. From the mattress to the mattresses, in 29 rooms on three floors.

We don't have televisions. We think they take up too much space. And they're not historical either. Our tip: switch off, it will be easy for you. We have nature here and a library in the lobby (and WiFi throughout the hotel).

Our rooms: On the Bel Etage are the nostalgia rooms with Felder paneling, historically restored. On the second floor are the Kurhaus rooms, lovingly renovated, combined with fresh, charming elements.

And on the third floor, with sloping ceilings, the deluxe rooms: spacious in layout, nostalgia and history interpreted in a modern way.

Good to know: There are three double rooms that are outside the historical context. They are intended for people who need a roof over their heads in between hikes lasting several days and simply want a short and good rest.

ENJOY, EAT FINE: IN THE SÄÄLI, IN THE GASTSTUBE, ON THE VERANDA, IN THE GARDEN - LOOK FORWARD TO WHAT WE BRING YOU.

Sophisticated, mannered? Back then, in 1899, it might have been like that here at the FLÜHLI Hotel Kurhaus. Today we are very different - down-to-earth, unaffected, versatile. And pretty straightforward: Kafi Lutz, by all means. The well-chosen champagne - likewise.

So is our cuisine: we cook seasonally, regionally and freshly. The focus is on enjoyment, tradition and the odd surprise. Yes, it should be cheerful: Your mouth should water and the food should be a real pleasure.

A 3-course menu at lunchtime: good, fresh and so that you can get back on time. Pure indulgence in the evening - with a 4-course spa menu and à la carte. We change the menu and wine list regularly, adapting it to the seasons.

History in the dining room too: with original furniture from 1910, where our guests and people from the village meet. Sometimes for a snack, coffee and croissants, nut croissants and a newspaper.

Winter à la carte 

In the Flühli-Stube, things are more private, even slightly more elegant, we serve white. But here, too, we serve bratwurst and the occasional Suuren Mocken. And we don't expect deux-pièce or a suit. Unless, of course, you want to.

On nice days - and we have lots of them - you can eat in the garden if you like. The veranda is also spacious and inviting.

Gazing at the stars before you dream leave. And in the morning - let this day grab you, experience something.

Even if you are not a classic nature person - the surroundings here invite you to get out and about. These Entlebuch mountains, meadows and forests allow you to see many things in a different light, this nature puts many things in a different light: UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch

So off you go on a hike: there are easy hikes here, moderately difficult ones and also very challenging ones. In winter, walking and hiking remain popular and the trails are well maintained.
