Personal details

I have been working as a dentist for 25 years now. I completed my studies at the University of Heidelberg, where I also wrote my dissertation on radiographs in temporomandibular joint diagnostics. After two years as an assistant in a general practice, I completed three years of further training in periodontology and implantology at the University of Nijmegen (NL) and graduated in 1997 with a Master of Science in Periodontology (M.Sc.). I then worked as a lecturer at the university in Nijmegen and at the same time worked in my own general dental practice and in a referral practice for periodontology and implantology. My desire to combine everything in my own practice and to work as a dentist in a beautiful environment brought me to Flums. I now also work on Wednesdays as an instructor in the Department of Dentistry for the Elderly and Disabled at the University of Zurich.

We are often asked on the phone about the cost of treatment. We would be happy to provide binding information. Unfortunately, this is not possible in dentistry.
Every patient is different.
The cost of a filling varies between around CHF 75 and CHF 270 depending on the tooth, size and complexity. In rare cases even higher. Sometimes a crown is necessary instead of a filling. To assess all this, an examination is necessary. This is the only way we can respond to your individual situation and wishes.
