Snortec offers a simple and effective treatment for snoring and mild to moderate upper airway obstruction (mild to moderate apnea) during sleep: a mandibular propulsion device that prevents the lower jaw from falling back and collapsing during sleep by keeping the airway open. Customized to fit your teeth, the mandibular propeller is easy to wear and remove from the mouth, allows for slight freedom of movement, and is very easy to maintain.

You will be welcomed at Snortec by a specialized team. You will fill out a questionnaire to assess whether you simply snore or if sleep apnea is suspected. In the case of apnea, you will be referred to a specialist before considering the device. We will then conduct a general assessment of your dental arches to ensure that they are compatible with wearing a mandibular propulsion device. When all the parameters are in place, we take impressions of your teeth, which will be used to prepare the molds and manufacture your custom-made mandibular propulsion device. One to two weeks later, you return to the center for the fitting and adjustment of your device. A short period of adaptation is necessary to familiarize yourself with your new device. Snoring
In general, the relaxation of the pharynx, palate, uvula, and tongue muscles during deep sleep causes a narrowing of the air passage, and these soft tissues in the nasopharynx vibrate, producing the characteristic sound of snoring. This muscle relaxation can lead to a total blockage of the air passage. In the latter case, there is repeated interruption of breathing during the night, known as sleep apnea. These problems are caused by factors such as being overweight or consuming alcohol or medication before bedtime.
The consequences
Relationship problems: disruption of the partner's sleep, tension in the couple, etc. Pathological disorders: daytime sleepiness, fatigue upon waking, lack of attention, memory and vision problems, depression, irreversible cardiovascular problems.
The solution
