Description
BIOGRAPHY
After studying gemology in New York, Manuel Bouvier began his career at Cartier in the haute joaillerie department, into which the Musée Cartier would later be integrated. As he discovered the gem market and became familiar with Cartier's heritage, he developed a taste for exceptional, refined creations. He then collaborates with Marina Bulgari, who teaches him the rigor of design and great freedom in the choice of colors.
He creates his own jewelry.
In 1992, he created his own trading and design company. Supported by skilled craftsmen, and, blending modern materials with age-old techniques, he creates unique pieces set with the stones he acquires from around the world, the rarest gems, diamonds, colored stones or fine pearls. He creates bespoke pieces for his customers and friends, both sober and refined. Quality and craftsmanship are at the heart of his production.
"It's important for me to separate the highly mechanized and streamlined jewelry industry from haute joaillerie, where craftsmanship and rare materials create truly unique jewelry."
Manuel Bouvier has chaired the IC Fabergé Foundation. Located in the historic heart of Geneva, its offices are a rendezvous for collectors and gemstone enthusiasts.
Manuel Bouvier is President of the IC Fabergé Foundation.
