I implement all the necessary, mandatory means for optimal adaptation and care. These means are:

1 - time, availability, listening: audiology like other professions, more than other professions still, requires availability and psychology. Hearing difficulties go hand in hand with an emotional component (affect).

2 - the widest choice of manufacturers, of hearing aid brands: offering patients one, two or three brands of hearing aid is not enough. As a member of the independent hearing aid association Acoustique Suisse, I work with all hearing aid brands. There is no question of favoritism or economic interest in one brand or another.

3 - techniques: equipment, adjustment method, for as personalized a fit as possible, as often as possible with custom earmolds that I make myself. What counts is not the device, but what you do with it.And even then... The latest, most high-performance technical equipment doesn't solve everything... Beyond the adjustments and the appropriate adaptation, my patients appreciate and expect from me personalized care and support. Among other things, amplification must be introduced gradually, at the patient's own pace. After wearing trial hearing aids, patients can decide for themselves, on a case-by-case basis, which hearing aid they wish to keep (transparency, informed choice: detailed estimate including several variants, price levels). Finally, since hearing aids are a long-term project, once the fitting is complete there is a follow-up phase (regular check-ups, maintenance of the hearing aids) to ensure that the hearing aids remain effective and comfortable, and to upgrade them if necessary.
