Parquet is a natural product. It can behave differently when the weather changes. In winter during the heating period, the humidity in the room is lower, so the wood contracts (shrinks). If the room humidity is higher, the wood can expand (swell). This relationship is called equilibrium moisture. (Air humidity and wood moisture)
