Description
Welcome to our practice
Through a well-founded diagnosis, we create adequate treatment plans with the aim of restoring the functionality of the musculoskeletal system.
We achieve this through specific techniques such as passive joint and tissue mobilization or through the use of physical forces such as electricity or ultrasound. We also focus on active movement therapy.
Our practice has a medical training therapy department where we can specifically address the factors of strength, mobility, endurance and coordination - all in accordance with your personal needs.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a healing method in which only the hands are used for diagnosis and therapy.
It works without medication and other medical aids. The aim of osteopathic treatment is to restore the patient's well-being.
In order to achieve this, the osteopath detects functional disorders in the body and starts treatment there. Osteopathy is a holistic, manual form of therapy. It is based on the knowledge that the human body forms a unit and has self-healing powers - structure and organs interact with each other. The three pillars of osteopathy
- Parietal osteopathy: The musculoskeletal system is treated here, i.e. joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments are mobilized and corrected.
- Visceral osteopathy: Visceral osteopathy works on the internal organs and their connection to the whole organism. Indications would be: Diarrhea, constipation, cardiovascular problems, menstrual cramps, chronic fatigue, etc.
- Craniosacral osteopathy: The cranial bones and the sacrum are connected by a dural tube and form a functional unit. Disorders in the mobility of this unit affect the entire body. For example, problems with newborns such as "crying babies" or 3-month-olds, headaches and migraines, dizziness, problems with the jaw joint, concentration problems and stress .
Osteopathy is partially reimbursed via supplementary insurance. Ask your health insurance provider for more information!
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a fundamental part of the Chinese medical system and treats diseases caused by functional disorders.
Acupuncture is based on the ancient Chinese philosophy of yin and yang with the five elements of earth, metal, water, wood and fire. It is important not to view the body as a closed system, but that the body, mind, soul and environment influence each other.
This insight forms the basis of traditional Chinese medicine
MTT (medical training therapy)
In addition to traditional physiotherapy, we have integrated a new concept for medical training therapy into our practice.
Chronic lack of physical exercise is the cause of numerous complaints. Your personal training plan is determined on the basis of a physiotherapeutic examination and a fitness test on the IPN ergometer.
A training plan for the sustainable promotion of your mobility, strength, coordination and endurance is created taking into account your personal goals and possibilities.
