Ueli Zogg Tiefbau AG offers a wide range of services. We carry out the following services:

Pipework construction

We carry out excavation work for sewers, water, electricity, TV, telephone and gas lines. Create flow channels

Earth bores (earth rockets)

In difficult situations where it would be impossible or difficult to dig, we use the earth rocket, provided no other lines get in the way.

So roads are crossed under without damaging the pavement, or the earth rocket is set up in a cellar and pushed under the house surroundings (stairs, forecourts, trees) to the target pit.

So protective tubes up to 125mm diameter can be pulled in, at distances up to 15 meters

Natural stone walls

Natural stone is a very popular material with our customers. They can be used in many different ways. They can be used to reinforce streams, secure slopes, underpin roads, build garden walls, stairs, etc....., or simply for decorative purposes. There are also many different types of stone, which further increases the diversity of variations. The stones are moved with grabs attached to the excavators. This allows the stones to be turned and rotated as required until they fit. If very high strength is required, they are set in concrete

Building renovations

If an old house wall needs to be replaced, the affected part of the house is underpinned with supports, the old wall is exposed with an excavator and shovel, and then demolished. Later, a foundation is concreted, the wall is stripped and concreted, drainage pipes are laid if necessary, and the new wall is backfilled with excavated material.

Excavation work

Whether excavating for a detached house, a barn, a slurry tank, a swimming pool or digging a gravel pit, our larger machines are usually used. This type of work often requires a lot of digging power and strength. Together with the transport company Christian Zogg, we usually remove the excavated material ourselves and take it to prepared landfill sites. These are used to crush the stones so that they can be reloaded and transported away.

When paving work is carried out, a level is first created and then everything is well compacted. The hot surfacing is delivered using a thermal skip and is usually spread by hand to the desired thickness and then compacted.

In many cases, base plates are laid in advance to provide a nice finish. Drainage must also be well planned in advance, as there is more surface water on a paved area than on a gravel or stone area.

Work in forests and bodies of water, renaturalization

We carry out work for the local municipality of Grabs such as Repaving alpine roads and clearing debris, creating and maintaining cultivation paths in the forest, renewing manure boxes and paved manure pits, cleaning up the forest, etc.

Drainage ditches in the reed are also cleaned and biotopes created.

Source catchments

The time for catching water is usually determined by the "lunar calendar". It is very important to get the timing right and catch the water at a specific point so that as little surface water as possible can enter the spring and none dries up.

The socket is then sealed with clay. Cleanly washed gravel fills the socket so that it cannot be compressed. Depending on the amount of water, a pipe is laid with correspondingly large pipes, which then leads to the houses, wells or a tank.

On-call service for burst pipes

In our civil engineering business, we make sure that someone is always available and free at weekends or during vacations. When water pipes burst, it usually has to be done quickly, as the damage can quickly become extensive with water loss and environmental damage

Creek obstructions

In many cases, various parts of a stream have to be restored or rebuilt after heavy rainfall or even storms. Our excavators with grabs are ideal for this demanding work. Depending on the course of the stream or the strength of the current, the stones are set in concrete. By moving large stones, the course of the stream can be controlled or slowed down somewhat. If larger stones have to be delivered, this is usually done by the transport company Christian Zogg with its four-axle truck with rear crane.

We are happy to carry out stable buildings, manure boxes, manure pits, concrete work on houses or other civil engineering work for you.

The whole thing from A-Z, of course, i.e. excavation up to and including surrounding work.

Environmental work

We are happy to build parking lots, paths, seating areas, etc. for you from A to Z.

This includes: Excavation and removal, crushing, compacting, moving set straps and kerbstones, leveling, laying stones and slabs, adapting the surroundings

Road construction

We are happy to create roads for you from A-Z.

This means excavating, crushing, compacting, creating drainage pipes, filling roadsides if required or creating retaining walls with natural stone, adapting the surroundings. Possible surfaces are: Surfacing, grid stones, concrete, gravel.

Winter maintenance

While most of the construction machinery is parked or in the workshop for service work in winter, we need some of the vehicles for winter service. Together with Christian Zogg (transport company), we clear a large part of the roads on the Grabserberg and part of the village for the municipality of Grabs. A Unimock and a transporter are used during more or less normal snowfall. For larger amounts of snow, a mobile snow blower and a tractor are also used.
