Our vision

Living together with other people was something we dreamed of, and now we want to experience it. For us, that means children's laughter, resting hands, open ears, help and support when needed, enjoying the sun together, cooking and eating together, stroking the cat on our lap, tending to flowers, going for walks together, feeding the rabbits, reading aloud and listening, working in the garden...

 

Living together with different generations under one roof has been a part of our lives since childhood. We grew up in a three-generation household.

 

 

Our motivation

We are convinced that multi-generational living under one roof is enriching for everyone. The oldest generation feels at home with us. They always have someone to turn to for all their needs. They can contribute their experience, knowledge, and skills. The next generation, two women in their fifties, live and reside with the others. We organize and plan, help and support where necessary—we are simply there. The younger generation can stand on their own two feet financially, despite having a small budget. Single parents can pursue a career while their children are cared for at home. The youngest generation can enjoy their childhood, savor life in nature

, play in and around the big house, and be pampered by everyone.

 

 

Our guests and housemates

We work together with OGG, an economic and non-profit organization in the canton of Bern. They help us find guests who need some form of support. We will also introduce ourselves and our project to the regional social services, the community, the local Spitex, and the daycare association. At a later date, we will welcome single parents and their children into our newly formed family.
