Gyger Metallbau is a versatile construction company with customers throughout Switzerland. We carry out all types of metal, staircase and glass construction work. Our specialty, in which we are one of the leading companies in Switzerland, is high-quality staircase construction. An important milestone was the introduction of our own staircase line in 2014: The "swissstairs" brand stands for high-quality products and is aimed at an upscale market segment.

At our location in Heimberg in the canton of Bern, we employ around 20 people, including two to three metal construction apprentices.

At the same time, as a committed employer, we assume social responsibility: We create jobs for people with congenital learning difficulties and for those who want to be integrated back into everyday working life.

Gyger Metallbau has also been involved in projects in Africa for a long time. Our apprentices have the opportunity to complete a one-month internship in Koyom (Chad) in their fourth year of training. You can find reports on this in our news.
