In July 2009, the Schuppli family started producing cheese in the newly built Geisse Chäsi. They then achieved steady growth in the following years. Today, they process up to 300,000 kg of milk in production.
A growing variety of cheeses
The Schupplis strive to process regional goat's milk into specialities in the best possible way. When time allows, the team enjoys tinkering with new creations to further expand their range. Their diverse range includes a wide variety of fresh cheeses, matured fresh cheeses, soft cheeses, semi-hard cheeses, and raclette cheeses. Although the Schupplis are known for their variety of goat's cheese, they also delight cow's milk lovers with their exquisite fresh cow's cheese.
The Schupplis in the region
Most of the specialties are sold through the Natürli marketing organization, which brings regional specialties to specialty stores. The cheese dairy does not operate its own store. However, all of its specialties are available at the nearby Chäslädeli der Chäsi Girenbad and other cheese shops in the region.
