Welcome to Markus Schwab Bookbinding
Books
Paper is still one of the most popular information carriers. Fast-moving and durable. Everything is put on paper. The paperless office is not and will certainly not become a reality. Printed material as short-term information. Printed material in book form. As a product that can be used for years. That supports and enables education and training. That provides information in all areas.
We offer countless solutions for binding your books. Talk to us. We bind individual copies and series.
Paints Paint and draw yourself
If you feel like painting and drawing pictures yourself, you will find everything you need in our wide selection of artists' paints. Whether oil, acrylic, or watercolor, we have it. And, of course, we also have the appropriate painting surfaces and papers.

Free painting and design for children
The lesson is divided into guided and free sequences. The children learn how to use brushes and paint. They learn about shapes, rhythmic drawing, and mixing colors. Part of the lesson always consists of free painting and drawing with watercolors, chalk, and colored pencils. I am there to help them when they need it.
Amidst the hustle and bustle and sensory overload of childhood, I want to give them the opportunity to simply be themselves for a short time.

Encaustic – wax painting from antiquity
Historically, wax painting can be traced back to Roman times and antiquity. Wax painting was a common way of decorating walls with color at that time. Mummy shrines were also decorated using this technique. Wax paintings had a shine that could not be achieved with the paints of the time, such as egg tempera-based binders. Wax has the property of becoming waterproof over time when used in conjunction with masonry. Historically, encaustic painting has been little researched. Encaustic painting techniques were also used in some icon painting.
Encaustic is an artistic painting technique in which wax-bound color pigments are applied hot to the painting surface.
