Doggy Food

Our two cats, Shira and Tiger, are very dear to us. So one day we asked ourselves: is it healthy for our cats to eat preserved ready-made food? In our opinion, no. Industrial ready-made food is not ideal for cats or dogs in the long term and, in the worst case, can lead to allergies. From that moment on, we looked closely at the topic of "barfing" (raw food) and quickly realized that a vitamin- and nutrient-rich diet was just right for our beloved four-legged friends.

As a family of butchers, it was obvious that we would feed our pets a raw diet ourselves. In 2011, we took over Doggyfood and now offer a variety of raw food options for your dog or cat.

Origin and certification

Since we no longer slaughter ourselves, we have formed a close partnership with the Hinwil central slaughterhouse. They handed Doggy Food over to us because it had become too costly for them.

We source our meat directly from the Hinwil slaughterhouse. The livestock we process comes
exclusively from the region. We have known the farms for a long time and can
therefore vouch for the quality and origin. We also hold the Swiss K3
license from the canton of Zurich and are regularly inspected by the veterinary office.

From nose to tail

We follow the principle that everything is usable, from nose to tail. Our products are produced exclusively in our butchery in Hombrechtikon and are available raw (fresh or frozen) or in dried form.
