Stöckl + Eggimann Storen GmbH celebrated its 10th anniversary this August. "In order for such anniversaries to be celebrated at all, we need the trust of many, many customers, architects and administrations as well as reliable products from the manufacturers," says Sarah Stöckl. "And we would like to express our sincere thanks for that."

"How quickly time flies," say the two Managing Directors Michael Stöckl and David Eggimann. In the meantime, the two of them can look back on around 40 years of professional experience in the blind industry.

The employees
The company currently consists of four employees. Michael Stöckl and David Eggimann manage the business together. Both are responsible for advice, sales, installation  and repairs. Sarah Stöckl-Eggimann, a qualified businesswoman, carries out office work on a part-time basis. Blind fitter Andreas Sommer has been an ideal addition to the team since 2007.

Small company as an advantage
Since Stöckl + Eggimann Storen GmbH is a small company, the customer usually has the same contact person, or at most two, from the first meeting to the completion of the order. This is a great advantage, emphasizes Michael Stöckl and points out how flexibly the small team works. "If it's really urgent somewhere, we're sometimes out and about in the evenings and at weekends."

Stöckl + Eggimann Storen GmbH works for private customers as well as architecture and real estate companies. The company is not tied to one supplier. "We can always offer our customers the best quality and most suitable product on the market," says David Eggimann. This means that the blinds team has access to a very versatile range. Slat blinds, roller shutters, sun blinds, venetian blinds, insect screen elements and light well covers are only installed in the best quality available on the market.

Protection from any weather
Stöckl + Eggimann Storen GmbH provides customers with everything they need to protect themselves from the weather. This includes not only the usual products such as blinds and venetian blinds, but also folding tents and interior shading products.

Glazed patio awnings are all the rage
Glazed patio awnings are enjoying great popularity. The company has also been able to gain a foothold in this area in the last 2 years. "Once all the technical hurdles and preparations have been overcome, such a system is a jewel that offers customers year-round protection from rain, snow and burning sun," emphasizes David Eggimann. Michael Stöckl laughs and says: "With products like this, we truly bring the vacation island directly to our customers' homes, just as our web name suggests."

Insect protection remains a big hit these days
What was once mainly seen in America and Australia is now a matter of course in many places in this country too. Insect screens are available in many different variations. Not only the operation (roller blind, tensioning frame, sliding door, swing door, etc.) but also the type of fabric leaves nothing to be desired today. In addition to the standard fabrics, special pollen protection or transparent fabrics are very popular. Once you have these screens in your home, you will not want to do without this new quality of life in a hurry.

And the future?
"We are simply looking forward to celebrating again in 10 years' time. After all, something like this is always associated with a little pride in what we have achieved," says Sarah Stöckl. It's great that we can continue to be there for our customers.
