Dear customer

I would like to tell you about my journey to becoming a successful, self-employed beautician.

This path was not always easy. But read for yourself:

In the canton of Graubünden, there were only three apprenticeships for beauticians on offer in 2006. When I applied for 2006, these places were already taken and there was no other opportunity to start an apprenticeship as a beautician in the Graubünden area that year. However, a beauty salon in Chur gave me the chance to do an apprenticeship for 2007. Of course, I didn't miss out on this, signed the contract for 2007 and did an internship in a crèche as a gap year.

After a year, the time had finally come. I was able to learn my dream job at the Lacuna Beauty Center in Chur. An apprentice with a very talented and experienced trainer - Hedwig Dettwiler-Alisch.

The three years were very demanding, but also very instructive. I learned the art of cosmetics using a wide variety of good old-school techniques. By the end, I was perfectly prepared for the difficult final exams in 2010. Shortly afterwards, I was offered a permanent position at my former training company.

However, I couldn't get my dream of working as a freelance beautician out of my head. So I found out about freestanding premises in my area and, as if by chance, a block of flats including a store on the first floor was built one street away from my home. From that point on, the case was clear -

I'm opening my own beauty salon!

After I had submitted my application documents for the commercial space, I received a call from the landlord a short time later asking if I was still interested in opening a beauty salon there. - Of course I was! Still in the shell of the building, I went to view the 50 square meter space almost every day.

Thanks to my savings and the support of my parents, I opened my own beauty salon on April 1, 2011 Beauty Charisma  I knew that the first few years would be a tough time proving myself in the world of cosmetics and building up a customer base. Nevertheless, I stayed strong and after more than five years I can proudly say that I have managed to gain a foothold in the self-employed industry.

I love pampering my customers and giving them well-being and beauty!
