Veronika Horne has been training in Shotokan karate since 1980 and has been teaching children and adults since 1987. In 1995, she opened the Someibukan Karate Dojo in Interlaken, fulfilling her lifelong dream. In December 2002, she passed her 4th Dan examination with Asai Sensei. On July 22, 2012, she passed the 5th Dan exam at the WTKO in New York.

Since 2004, she has been offering Krav Maga courses alongside karate. She regularly undergoes further training with the Krav Maga Association Switzerland 

After a long break for family reasons, she relaunched her practice for body therapy at the beginning of 2012 and offers meridian massage and various energy treatments.
