The Musikschule Oberland Ost is a contemporary, cantonally recognized music school with a wide range of courses.
40 qualified teachers teach around 550 children, young people and adults.
They actively participate in musical life and thus contribute to the cultural diversity of the region.
Music lessons are education, not consumption. Quality is a top priority for the MSO.
Our teachers regularly undergo further training to maintain their artistic and pedagogical qualifications.
The sponsoring association is the highest body responsible for the strategic development of the school. 
Through it, the MSO receives its political support in the municipalities. 
The 27 municipalities in the region have joined together in a simple association Musikschulgemeinden Interlaken-Oberhasli
