Sun protection, also for the eyes

We need the sun and sunlight. Not only to keep us warm, but also to absorb important vitamins. For example, we replenish our vitamin D levels through sunlight. This is important for our health and general well-being. It has been proven that vitamin D has an influence on the regulation of calcium levels and is therefore partly responsible for our bone structure. It, or sunlight, is also said to improve our mood.

With all the good aspects of sunlight, we must not forget about protection. We all know that our skin reacts very sensitively to too much sunlight and therefore protect ourselves with appropriate sun cream, umbrellas or hats. However, not everyone is aware that we should wear sunglasses for more than just the glare. 
Although our eyes have a low level of natural protection, they can no longer fully absorb and regenerate today's exposure, especially in children. It is therefore extremely important to wear good sunglasses. Good means that they offer the necessary protection. Pay attention to the UV and glare protection - be careful, UV protection is not the same as UV protection! Look for a minimum value of UV 400. 

In addition to all the protective functions, one aspect of sunglasses should not be forgotten - they should also look good!
