'From bencher to winemaker'. That's what it was like in the very warm fall of 1997 when I started my second training as a winemaker on the Gold Coast. I learned from scratch how wine is made, from planting the young vines to bottling. I learned what it takes until the wine is ready to drink and we can enjoy it with a fine meal or just on its own. After a few positions in the wine trade, I decided to open the Cava Rava wine shop in August 2006. Today I can count on a large and loyal clientele.

I import all wines directly from the winery and know all the winemakers personally. It is important to me to see how honest and clean the work is. Most of them produce according to an ecological and/or organic philosophy, whether they are certified or not. The focus is always on quality and value for money - no brands and no mass production. Following the motto 'less is more', I have deliberately focused on European wine countries so that I can highlight the impressive diversity of these countries.
