NOMAD is an autonomous public institution mandated by the State of Neuchâtel. Our mission is to promote the autonomy and life projects of the inhabitants of the canton of Neuchâtel through personalized home care and assistance services, in coordination with the healthcare network. As a trusted partner, we work closely with Swiss health insurance companies, the Caisse cantonale neuchâteloise de compensation (CCNC), the Office d'assurance invalidité neuchâtelois (Office AI) and the canton's social and health institutions. This cooperation enables us to ensure efficient care coordination, guaranteeing quality services tailored to your specific needs.

At NOMAD, our motivation is to enable you to remain in the comfort of your own home for as long as possible.

Our services:

• General care and support: assessment and advice, examination and treatment (health checks, blood pressure readings, injections, infusions, dressings, preparing the weekly diary), basic care (hygiene care, help with getting up and going to bed, dressing and undressing).

• Home help and support: maintenance of your living space and support in changing the practices you need to keep you at home, as well as encouragement to carry out social and leisure activities. 

• Liaison service: monitoring your situation as soon as you are hospitalized to organize your return home. 

• Stomatherapy care: treatment of wounds, ostomies and incontinence. 

• Diabetes care: care and monitoring of your diabetes. 

• Psychiatric care: care and follow-up in your environment for your mental health needs. 

• Dietetic care: screening by our nurses and nutrition follow-up by a dietician.

• Care in acute situations: care program in complex, acute and end-of-life situations, in a comprehensive, psycho-social approach, in collaboration with several health and social partners. 

• Palliative care : care and accompaniment at the end of your life, support for your loved ones.
