Musée paysan et artisanal

The Musée paysan et artisanal (Farm and Craft Museum) is a museum of folk art and traditions located in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

This early 17th-century Neuchâtel farm immerses visitors in the forgotten atmosphere of a traditional peasant interior. You can discover a period kitchen with its bread oven, utensils, and fireplace, two beautiful furnished and wood-paneled bedrooms, and a peasant-watchmaker's workshop with its workbench and tools. The stable and barn house lively temporary exhibitions on all kinds of subjects related to the world of farming and crafts. Lace-making demonstrations are held on the first Sunday of every month.
