SMAD is a non-profit association supported by the canton. It collaborates on a daily basis with other players in the healthcare field, hospitals, medico-social establishments and other day-care facilities. Its staff do their utmost to support and enable people to remain in their own homes throughout the various stages of their lives (illness, accident, age-related difficulties, disability, end-of-life support, etc.). Staff are on hand to relieve people, support them and help them regain or maintain their independence.
