About us

La Physio de La Comba, opened its doors in 2002 in Riaz, in Rue de La Comba, whose name it has kept. Since then, in 2005 the practice has moved to new premises at Impasse des Terreaux 4, still in Riaz. In 2020, we expanded our offer with a new site in La Roche (Rte de Fribourg 50). Comprising 6 treatment rooms in total and full medical fitness facilities at each site, we have become a benchmark for physiotherapy in the region.

Physiotherapy refers to the World Health Organization (WHO) definition that health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. As such, it is a front-line health discipline involved in prevention and health promotion. Its role is to enable patients to regain their maximum physical capabilities, so that they can once again carry out the tasks of daily life, perform a job or practice a sport or leisure activity.
