About us
CheckElec Contrôle Sàrl carries out expert assessments of electrical installations within the meaning of the OIBT (Ordonnance des installations à basse tension), and is located in La Tour-de-Peilz. Its aim is to ensure that the electrical installation complies with normative requirements at all times.
The employees carrying out the inspection have an electrical safety advisor's certificate, enabling them to provide technical expertise on electrical installations. They are able to synthesize their knowledge of the field, the equipment and the problems encountered by customers or professionals.
They provide a report on the work carried out and the results obtained.
They provide an inspection report on defects found and deliver advice linked to the safety of people or things. They help you to understand the risks associated with electricity and how to protect yourself from them in a competent manner.

Prior to handover to the owner, a company-specific final inspection must be carried out by a tradesperson in accordance with Art. 8 of the ITTO or by an inspector, and the results recorded in a safety report.
The owner of a plant with an inspection period of less than 20 years in accordance with the Annex to the ITTO shall have an acceptance inspection carried out by a body independent of the plant within six months of acceptance of the plant, and shall submit the safety report to the operator or, in the case of plants in accordance with Art. 32, para. 2, to the Inspectorate within the same period.
At least six months before the expiry of an inspection period in accordance with the Annex to the ITTO, network operators shall invite in writing the owners of the installations they supply to submit a safety report in accordance with Art. 37 before the end of the inspection period. Electrical installations subject to inspection every 10 or 20 years must also be inspected after any change of ownership, if the last inspection carried out was five years ago.
.Photovoltaic installations are subject to acceptance inspections by a body independent of the installation.
Certification for a guarantee of origin (for Pronovo) enables every kilowatt-hour of electricity produced to be valued for the promotion of renewable energies (<30kVA).
