BOOKBINDING

An ancient craft combines modernity with tradition. With our extensive craftsmanship and expertise, using both modern and classic materials and equipment, we give your orders the finish you desire. We take great pleasure in our work, designing and crafting your book cover requests, from simple document binders to sturdy logbooks or magazine binders to elegant parchment or leather binders.

FRAMING

Professional framing gives your artwork the perfect setting. In addition to supporting the artistic aspect, technical requirements such as protection against aging, light, moisture, and breakage must also be taken into account.

Only the right frame, together with the appropriate mat and the right glass, will show your picture to its best advantage. A well-framed picture is protected from harmful environmental influences for many years. The choice of materials plays a decisive role here.

We only use age-resistant, museum-quality materials for passe-partouts and picture backgrounds. The use of anti-reflective special glass or anti-reflective museum glass ensures that the colors of the framed picture are reproduced in full brilliance. In addition, museum glass absorbs 97% of the UV rays that are harmful to the picture. You will be surprised by the large selection of frames and the many design options available.

Professional presentation and optimal image protection are the hallmarks of expert framing. We specialize in stretching and framing handmade tapestries.

Stretching large formats onto various backing materials – no problem for us.

MOUNTING

Mounting is used wherever plans, maps, posters, tables, pictures, and much more are to be presented for exhibitions, in offices, in shop windows, and in living rooms. Special requirements apply when a product is hung outdoors.

Most mounting work is carried out on our mounting machine with a working width of up to 135 cm. We use an age-resistant polyester film with acrylate adhesive as the adhesive film. We mount on cardboard, wood fiber boards (MDF), waterproof Forex boards, foam board, Dibond, or aluminum boards in various thicknesses.

On request, the mounted works can also be protected from dust and moisture with PVC film. The works coated in this way can be written on with appropriate felt-tip pens.

A special type of mounting is the mounting of family trees. Fabric is used here as a robust backing material. This can be rolled or folded.

Our mounting service is fast, reliable, and professional. Mounting is both cost-effective protection and perfect presentation.

PRINTING / COPYING / SCANNING

The world is colorful. Your documents, invitations, flyers, posters, programs, photos, advertising materials, menus, instruction manuals, presentations, or plans can be colorful too.

We can fulfill (almost) any request. Whether you give us your printing and copying requests in the form of a paper template, on a USB stick, or by email, we can produce them on paper in many different formats. Enlarge, reduce, multiple images, or just excerpts from a template—anything is possible. Now also available in white print (link). And of course in black and white. Thanks to the latest technology, we offer outstanding quality, full-surface printing up to 32x120cm.

Do the printed or copied works also need to be cut, folded, punched, drilled, or glued? We have a lot to offer in our bookbinding workshop (link to bookbinding workshop). Ask us, we will be happy to show you what is possible.

We also offer A4 transparent and presentation films for overhead projection, in black and white and color.

  Are you looking for a specific picture or a suitable graphic for your interior? We are happy to help you with this. You can pick up the picture catalog from our studio and keep it for two to three days to look at. You can take your time at home to choose your desired picture or poster, which we will procure for you and frame on request.
  We have numerous original lithographs by the well-known artist Fred Baumann from Dürrenroth in stock. We would be happy to show you these beautiful prints. Let yourself be enchanted by the light and intense colors of these pictures. Create a comfortable space for yourself with your favorite pictures.
